So, What Is a Cut Off Mark?

Cut Off Mark is the minimum point a student applying for admission must attain in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and or Post-Utme/Screening Exercise in order to be considered for admission into a particular school.

Note: Since AKSU cut off mark for this year is yet to be available; The Akwa Ibom State University cut off mark shown below is for the previous year. We hope it would help you make an informed decision on the course you can apply for based on their cut off points. When the current year’s cut off mark is released, it will be updated here.  

EKSU JAMB Cut Off Mark for 2020/2021 Admission

All EKSU Aspirants are hereby informed that EKSU JAMB cut off mark for admission into the University is 180.

This post is for all those who applied for admission into EKSU and has been searching for EKSU Cut Off Mark to check if the score they had in JAMB can qualify them for admission into Ekiti State University Ado Ekiti for this session (2020/2021).

This means that all those who wrote JAMB And Scored up to 180 or a minimum of 180 are eligible to buy EKSU Post-Utme or Admission form and also sit for the Examination should there be.

All those who scored less than 180 (179,169,170,130,129,120,145,140,139, etc) are to note that the Ekiti State University Ado Ekiti will not accept them for admission.
This eligibility for buying EKSU post UTME form with a minimum JAMB Score of 180 and Above also includes the following courses unless otherwise stated by the management.

  • Medicine
  • Pharmacy
  • Engineering
  • Law
  • Others

EKSU Departmental Cut Off Mark

A lot of aspirants are also concerned to when the departmental cut off mark of the Ekiti State University Ado Ekiti will be released. Departmental cut off mark is the minimum cut off mark for admission into various departments in a particular University.

This cut off mark is usually available after the release of the school’s screening or post utme admission form.

Please do i still have hope,i scored 180in jamb and 43.0 in post utme and i requested for business administration, will i be offer admission, and also apart from bus admin i saw industrial relation and personnel management on my wall and not admitted at the end, what does that mean, does it mean my course is changed or what

  8. I scored 218 in jamb, is there a chance of me gaining admission into EKSU to study medicine. I didn’t pick it as my first and second choice.

    • To gain admission into eksu,you need to choose it as your first choice,because they choose students that chose eksu as their first choice before considering students that chose eksu as their second choice
      and yes,you can gain admission into eksu with your score in jamb

    • You qualify to buy their screening form but the chances of you getting admission will depend on if you perform well during the screening exercise

  10. Please my aggregate is 59.37to study biochemistry but I choose eksu as second choice, when I checked my admission status I was not admitted yet! did I have any hope of gaining admission? And please can I get the departmental cutoff point?
