WAEC And NECO Subject Requirements for Education and Geography / Physics
The subjects required to study Education and Geography / Physics in both WAEC and NECO are as follows:
Five SSCE credit passes to include Geography/Physics, English Language and Mathematics.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNIPORT, DELSU, UNICAL, and UDUSOK accept a pass in Mathematics.
(ii) UNIABUJA and UDUSOK accept a pass in English Language.
(iii) OOU and ABSU require Government or Economics.
(iv) EKSU requires two Social Science subjects.
(v) OAU requires credit pass in Geography/Physics and any two of Economics, Government, Mathematics and History.
(vi) FUTMINNA accepts NCE (merit) ND/HND at lower credit in addition to four relevant UTME subjects.
(viii) IMSU accepts at least a pass in English Language.
(ix) UMYU requires five ‘’O’ credit passes which include English Language, Mathematics, Geography/ Physics and any of Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Biology or Agricultural Science.
(x) MAUTECH same as in Education Mathematics.
(xi) UNIMAID accepts a Pass in English Language.
(xii) ABU requires Five ‘O’ level credit passes to include Geography/ Physics, English Language and Mathematics and any other subject from Chemistry Physics or/Biology.
(xiii) UNICAL requires five O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and any other Social Science subjects
