WAEC And NECO Subject Requirements for Education and Geography
The subjects required to study Education and Geography in both WAEC and NECO are as follows:
Five SSCE credit passes to include Geography/Physics, English Language and Mathematics.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNILORIN and UNIUYO accept a pass in Mathematics.
(ii) UNIABUJA accept a pass in English Language.
(iii) UNIBEN requires Mathematics, Geography/Physics and one other Social Science subject.
(iv) UNIBEN accepts NCE General Mathematics/General English in lieu of O/Level Mathematics/English Language.
(v) IBBU requires other subjects from Science.
(vi) LASU requires credit Passes in Mathematics. Does not accept physics in lieu of Geography.
(vii) BUK requires five O’ Level Credit passes to include Geography/Physics, English language and any other Social Science subject. Also offers Geography/Physics with Science combination.
Geography/Physics with two other Sciences subject i.e. Physics, Biology/Chemistry.
(viii) KSU, UNIILORIN and IAUED does not accept credit pass in Physics in lieu of Geography.
