WAEC And NECO Subject Requirements for Petroleum Engineering
The subjects required to study Petroleum Engineering in both WAEC and NECO are as follows:
five SSCE credits to include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language and any one Science subject.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) FUTO and UI accept ND/HND at upper credit level.
(ii) UI accepts 2 ‘A’ level passes in Physics and
Mathematics plus UTME requirements. Accepts also
ND/HND at upper credit level {65%} accepted to 200/300 Upper levels respectively plus UTME requirements. Knowledge of Further Mathematics is an advantage for all Engineering Courses.
(iii) OSUSTECH requires a credit pass in Further Mathematics.
(iv) NDU requires five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject in not more than two sittings
