Direct Entry (DE) Requirements for Meteorology
Without wasting much time, the direct entry requirements to study Meteorology are:
(i) ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and Physics.
(ii) ND (Upper credit level) in Meteorology.
(iii) NMO Class II Certificate in Weather Forecasting, plus ‘O’ level SSCE requirements
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) FUTA accepts GCE (Advance Level) passes or its equivalent in at least two subjects from the following: Physics, Mathematics and either Chemistry or Geography. Holders of WMO Class II certificate are also eligible for admission
Note that the above direct entry requirements may only apply to Meteorology under the faculty of Engineering, Environment and Technology.
