Direct Entry (DE) Requirements for Theatre and Film Studies
Without wasting much time, the direct entry requirements to study Theatre and Film Studies are:
Two ‘A’ level passes in Arts, Social Science or Science subjects.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNN accepts
(a) ND/NCE either in Theatre Arts or any other relevant subjects or Advanced level certificate in literature.
(b) ND in Mass Communication, Fine and Applied Arts, Electrical/Elect. Engineering, Music,Management and other relevant areas plus UTME requirements.
(ii) UNIJOS accept Certificate in Drama, Theater Arts – Mass Comm. and Music. ‘A’ level passes to include English Language, Lit-in-English, plus UTME requirements.
(iii) UNIJOS accept ‘A’ level/IJMB pass in two or three Principal papers and other certificates in Drama, Mass Communication, Communication, Journalism with three ‘O’ level in relevant subjects including Literature in English.
Note that the above direct entry requirements may only apply to Theatre and Film Studies under the faculty of Arts and Humanities.
