Direct Entry (DE) Requirements for Technology and Vocational Education
Without wasting much time, the direct entry requirements to study Technology and Vocational Education are:
(i) NCE with two merit in relevant Science subjects plus UTME requirements.
(ii) Two ‘A’ level passes from Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) MAUTECH accepts NCE (Tech/Science) with merit in relevant subjects plus UTME requirements.
(ii) MAUTECH accept any of the following qualifications into 200 level if they satisfy UTME requirements.
(a) ND/HND in Science or Engineering;
(b) City and Guilds Full Technological Certificate.
(iii) ESUT accepts merit in 4 NCE subjects into 300 level.
(iv) MAUTECH accepts NCE with merit in relevant subjects. Also accepts Lower credit in `A’ level related and relevant fields.
Note that the above direct entry requirements may only apply to Technology and Vocational Education under the faculty of Education.
