JAMB Subject Combination For Physics / Solar Energy
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Physics / Solar Energy under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are:
Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Physics / Solar Energy
In order to study Physics / Solar Energy in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other Science subject from Further mathematics and Biology or Agricultural Science.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) BOWEN requires five SSCE Credit Passes to include English Language, Mathematics/Additional Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any other Science subjects, including Geography
Direct Entry Requirements For Physics / Solar Energy
To apply for Physics / Solar Energy as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: NCE/Two ‘A’ level A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics or Chemistry.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) BOWEN accepts ‘A’ Level /IJMB/NCE/ ND or approved equivalent in Mathematics and Physics. In exceptional cases Physics and Chemistry may be considered.
