Direct Entry (DE) Requirements for Human Kinetics
Without wasting much time, the direct entry requirements to study Human Kinetics are:
(i) NCE in Physical and Health Education with overall percentage of 60% plus UTME requirements.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) TASUED – Same as in Health Education.
(ii) UNILAG accepts:
(a) Very good passes in three JUPEB subjects: Biology/ Health Sciences/Physical Education one (1) other Science Subject and any other subject.
(b) NCE in Physical and Health Education.
(c) University of Lagos, Lagos 2-year Diploma in Human Kinetics and Health Education
(d) Candidates must also satisfy the O/Level requirement.
(iii) IAUED – Same as Health and Safety Education.
(iv) EBSU accepts RN/RM (registered nurses/registered midwife) certificate, NCE in Health and Physical Education plus UTME requirements. It also HND, NCE and ND with a minimum of Merit and Upper credit respectively in the relevant fields.
(v) KWASU accepts:
a) Merit pass in IJMB/GCE A’ Level in relevant science subjects
b) At Least Merit pass in two major subjects in relevant areas at the NCE including Physical and Health Education in addition to O’Level requirements as specified for the UTME above.
c) Certificate of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria or its equivalent in addition to the O’ Level requirements in the specified subjects for UTME.
d) No Direct Entry Admission for 2013/2014 Session.
e) Any other relevant qualification approved by the College of Education and the Senate of KWASU.
