Direct Entry (DE) Requirements for Geography and Regional Planning
Without wasting much time, the direct entry requirements to study Geography and Regional Planning are:
Two ‘A’ level passes including Geography
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNIUYO accepts ND/ NCE / HND in relevant plus UTME requirements
(ii) UNIBEN also accepts ND (Upper Credit)/HND (Lower Credit) in Town Planning, Estate Management or Environmental Management and Geographic Information System; NCE (overall merit) with credit pass in Geography. Direct Entry candidate must also satisfy UTME requirements.
(iii) DELSU require one other ‘A’ level Social Science subject and accept NCE (credit) in Geography; ND (Upper Credit), HND (Lower Credit) in Town Planning or in related fields.
(iv) DELSU accepts NCE (credit) in Geography or ND (Upper Credit) in Town Planning, Land Surveying, Environmental Resource Management, Estate Management or other related fields.
Note that the above direct entry requirements may only apply to Geography and Regional Planning under the faculty of Social and Management Sciences.
