PLEASE NOTE AS FOLLOWS:

1. Merit cut off is the general cut off for all candidates irrespective of their state of origin while the catchment cut off is ONLY for candidates from the five catchment states of FUTO ( ABIA, ANAMBRA, EBONYI, ENUGU & IMO);
2. That the closing date for the online registration for the supplementary application is December 31, 2021;
3. That candidates who did not participate in the 2021/2022 Post-UTME Exercise are not eligible for the supplementary application.
4. That candidate must have uploaded their correct O’Level results on the JAMB portal.
5. Candidates should be properly guided by the provisions in the JAMB brochure with particular reference to the UTME combinations and SSCE requirements.
6. For LTT, candidates must have (5) O’ Level credits or its equivalent to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and either Economics or Geography.
7. For PMT, SCM & TEI, candidates must have five (5) O’ Level credits or its equivalent to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one of: Economics, Biology/Agricultural Science/ Geography

FUTO Supplementary Admission [Addendum]

This is to inform the general public that in addition to the courses earlier advertised for Supplementary admissions in the 2021/2022 session, the  Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) will also admit candidates into the under-listed New Programmes in SCHOOL AGRICULTURE & AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY (SAAT) and SCHOOL OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS AND ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY (SESET):

1. SCHOOL AGRICULTURE & AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY (SAAT)
   • Agri-business (AGB)

2. SCHOOL OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS AND ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY (SESET)
   • Computer Engineering (CME)
   • Telecommunication Engineering (TCE)

Candidates who had applied for the courses earlier advertised can change to these new courses in the FUTO portal at  NO CHARGE by following the under listed guidelines:

• Visit the University official portal https://portal.futo.edu.ng/
• Click on “Help/Support”
• Click on “Open a new ticket”
• Fill in the necessary information and click “Create Ticket”.
• Complete the ”Issue Summary” Box, providing your jamb registration number and the new choice of course.
• Click on ”Create Ticket” to submit your request.
• You will be notified in your provided email when to proceed to print out your “Acknowledgement Slip” bearing the new course.

2. Candidates who did not participate in the 2021/2022 Post-UTME Exercise are not eligible for the supplementary application.
3. Candidates must have uploaded their correct O’Level results on JAMB portal.
4. Candidates should be properly guided by the provisions in the JAMB brochure with particular reference to the SSCE requirements.
   • For Computer Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering – same as in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
   • For Agri-business –  same as in Agriculture

How to Apply for FUTO Supplementary Admission Form

The following procedure applies:

1. Visit the University official website futo.edu.ng.
2. Click on “Prospective Students”
3. Click on 2021/2022 Supplementary Application.
4. Click on “Apply Here”
5. Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
6. Print your invoice and proceed to any bank to pay a non-refundable fee of N11,000.00 using your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code on the invoice.
7. Alternatively, you can make a payment using your ATM card.
8. After successful payment in the bank, return to the portal.
9. Repeat Steps (i) – (iv)
10. Complete and submit online Supplementary Application Form.
11. Print out your “Acknowledgement Slip”
