It is no news that there will be no academic operation across Nigeria until we hear a positive news about the virus. Well, we cannot wait till forever before managing the current situation. Having said that, I am happy to announce to you that some UNIBEN tech experts have come together to arrange a 12-weeks software engineering bootcamp for students that are stuck at home. Cyril Ugonna Okonkwo, Prince OsinachiNchiba and Afuye Ayodeji are pioneering this amazing idea. It is also reported that the Department of Computer Engineering of the University of Benin have partnered with these talents to reach more students for the exercise.Â
The bootcamp is open to all students with access to a computer and the internet. Application runs from the 27th of April till the 11th of May 2020.  The main bootcamp would be kickstarting on the 18th of May 2020 and will run for exactly 12 weeks unless the organisers decides to extend it.Â
