Direct Entry (DE) Requirements for Physiology
Without wasting much time, the direct entry requirements to study Physiology are:
Two ‘A’ level passes chosen from Chemistry, Physics and Biology/Zoology.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNIBADAN requires two A’ level passes from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany plus UTME requirements.
(ii) UNICAL and UNIPORT- No direct entry.
(iii) UNILORIN requires ‘A’ level passes from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
(iv) UNILAG accepts very good passes in three JUPEB/A-LEVEL subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
(v) AAU accepts B.Sc Degree in relevant fields with good grade. Remedial results not acceptable.
(vi) LAUTECH accepts ‘A’ Level passes in Biology and Chemistry or Physics or ND with Upper Credit or /HND in relevant discipline.
(vii) UNIBEN accepts:
a) Three Advance level passes in GCE or HSC or any of their equivalent at not more than two sittings. Subjects are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Zoology in addition to O’ level requirements.
b) At least a second Class Lower Degree from a recognized University in any of the following. B.C Biological Sciences (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, Botany)
Note that the above direct entry requirements may only apply to Physiology under the faculty of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences.
