JAMB Subject Combination For Industrial Mathematics / Applied Statistics
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Industrial Mathematics / Applied Statistics under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are:
Mathematics and any two of Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Biology and Agricultural Science.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Industrial Mathematics / Applied Statistics
In order to study Industrial Mathematics / Applied Statistics in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and two other Science subjects.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) ESUT requires English Language, Mathematics and three credit passes out of Physics, Statistics, Economics, Biology, Chemistry, Further Mathematics and Agricultural Science.
Direct Entry Requirements For Industrial Mathematics / Applied Statistics
To apply for Industrial Mathematics / Applied Statistics as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: (i) Two ‘A’ level passes from Mathematics, Physics, Economics or Chemistry.
(ii) NCE with minimum of merit in relevant subjects.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) ESUT requires two ‘A’ Level passes to include Mathematics. It accepts National Diploma in Science courses.
