JAMB Subject Combination For Education and Arabic
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Education and Arabic under the Faculty of Education in the institutions listed above are:
Arabic and any 2 relevant Arts/Social Science subjects.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Education and Arabic
In order to study Education and Arabic in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credits in relevant subjects including English Language and Arabic.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) ABU accepts T.C. II at credit/merit level.
(ii) UMYU requires five credit passes in English Language, subject of specialization and any other Arts subjects.
(iii) UNIABUJA and LASU require five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit Passes in SSCE/NECO, GCE to include Mathematics, Arabic and English Language.
Direct Entry Requirements For Education and Arabic
To apply for Education and Arabic as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes or NCE in relevant subjects including Arabic.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UMYU requires five credit passes in English Language, Arabic and any other three Arts subjects with a pass in Mathematics.
(ii) ABU accepts:
(a) Two ‘A’ level/IJMB passes which must include Arabic.
(b) NCE with minimum of C grade in Arabic.
