If So, we are glad to inform you that we are  going to give you the list of all UNN Engineering Courses and Departments that you can apply to during this year or next year’s JAMB Registration.

What is Engineering?

Before we proceed, let’s take a brief definition on what engineering is all about. 
According to an online Dictionary : it is the branch of science and technology concerned with the design, building, and use of engines, machines, and structures.
I can as well define Engineering as the application of Science for solving man’s problem.
Having known that, we can now go ahead and list out all Engineering Departments and Courses Offered in University Of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN).

UNN ENGINEERING COURSES AND DEPARTMENTS

Agricultural and Bio-Resources Engineering

Agricultural Engineering is the area of engineering concerned with the design, construction and improvement of farming equipment and machinery.

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies engineering, physics, and materials science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. It is one of the oldest and broadest of the engineering disciplines.

Civil Engineering

Civil engineering is one of the oldest engineering disciplines because it deals with constructed environment including planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures, and facilities, such as roads, railroads, airports, bridges, harbors, channels, dams, irrigation projects, pipelines, power plants, and water and sewage systems.

Electrical Engineering

It is the branch of engineering that deals with the technology of electricity. Electrical engineers work on a wide range of components, devices and systems, from tiny microchips to huge power station generators

Electronics  Engineering is a branch of Electronics Engineering which deals with the effects of electrons to build components, devices, systems, or equipment.

REQUIREMENTS TO STUDY ENGINEERING IN UNN

For you to gain admission into any of UNN Engineering Courses or qualify to apply for admission to study Engineering, you must have passed the following requirements:
1. A minimum of Five Credit in O-Level Certificate (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB). To save you the stress, you need at least a credit pass in
2. You must have also used the following as your JAMB subject combination:
  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Physics and
  • Chemistry
