We have provided you with Ball State Academic Calendar for 2023-2024 academic session, this is to help you to know the various activities that will take place in the school.
The arrangement of terms and sessions is the sole foundation for a regular academic calendar. For each academic career at the academic institution, you must specify at least one academic calendar. Consequently, the number of academic calendars can equal the number of academic careers. Within each term of an academic career, you must provide the deadlines for dropping, withdrawing, and canceling for each session. It is possible to establish separate milestone dates for each academic career, as each academic career within a university has its own academic calendar.
In order to be associated with a traditional academic calendar, a student must be enrolled in a term during their academic career, linking them to the appropriate academic calendar. The student’s academic curriculum is consequently determined by the dates on the academic calendar corresponding to that academic career and term combination. Academic calendars are necessary to activate the term. To define traditional academic calendars based on the term and session structure, you should utilize the Academic Calendar component.

Celestial Event: Total Solar Eclipse

A total solar eclipse will occur during the day on April 8, 2024 and will only be visible by only some of the world, including Muncie, IN (weather permitting, with proper eye protection)! The solar eclipse will begin on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 1:52 p.m., when the Moon starts to block out the southwest side of the Sun (at the 5 o’clock mark). The Moon will continue to block out more of the Sun until totality, when the Sun is fully blocked by the Moon. Totality in Muncie begins at 3:07 p.m. You can safely view this portion of the eclipse, and this short portion alone, without any eye protection because the entire face of the Sun will be completely blocked by the Moon. Here in Muncie, IN, totality will last 3 minutes and 48 seconds, with it ending at 3:11 p.m. The partial solar eclipse will continue until the entire event ends at 4:24 p.m.
