When I decided to furnish my home, I entrusted Olive Olivet Interiors, located at Olive Plaza, Wuse Abuja, opposite Nipco Filling Station, with the task of creating wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, a bed, and a TV console.
On their Instagram profile, @oliveolivet_interiors, as well as the chats I had with their representative both online and offline had claims of high-quality work and seemed promising, so I went ahead with their services. Unfortunately, my experience turned out to be anything but satisfactory.

Why I Chose Olive Olivet Interiors
I chose Olive Olivet Interiors because they presented themselves as a company that delivers excellent craftsmanship. Their claims and social media presence inspired confidence, and I hoped to receive well-crafted furniture and a smooth process.
My Experience
Here’s a breakdown of the issues I encountered:
- Bad Finishes and Incomplete Work:
- The TV console was left incomplete. Some parts, which were supposed to include shelves and cabinets, were never done.
- Substandard Kitchen Cabinets:
- I paid for full kitchen cabinets, including internal partitioning and covering all areas of the kitchen. However:
- They skipped the refrigerator area and did not partition the internals of the cabinets.
- After persistent follow-ups, they did some rough work for the refrigerator area but completely ignored the partitioning for the cabinets.
- I paid for full kitchen cabinets, including internal partitioning and covering all areas of the kitchen. However:
- Poorly Made Bed:
- The bed frame was supposed to cover the entire area and include a dressing mirror. Instead:
- They delivered a poorly constructed frame that only covered half the area, leaving the rest unfinished.
- The dressing mirror was never included.
- I will attach pictures showing what I paid for versus what I received.
- The bed frame was supposed to cover the entire area and include a dressing mirror. Instead:
- Unfulfilled Promise for a Master Bedroom TV Console:
- Part of the final agreement included a TV console for the master bedroom, but this item was never delivered.
- Forced Full Payment Before Completion:
- They pressured me into making full payment before completing the work. Once they had my money, they reneged on their promises and failed to deliver.

Impact
The delays and substandard work were a significant waste of time and money.
- I waited months for delivery, only to receive incomplete and low-quality items.
- The stress and inconvenience caused by their lack of professionalism cannot be overstated.
Attempts to Resolve
I reached out to Olive Olivet Interiors multiple times via chats and calls to resolve the issues and complete the remaining work. Their responses were nonchalant and unhelpful, showing a clear lack of accountability.
Opinion
In my opinion, Olive Olivet Interiors lacks professionalism, delivers subpar work, and fails to meet deadlines or expectations. Their treatment of customers and disregard for commitments make them highly unreliable.
I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, look elsewhere for your furniture needs.
Conclusion
I’m sharing this experience to help others make informed decisions when choosing furniture service providers. If you’ve had similar experiences with Olive Olivet Interiors or other companies, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
