JAMB Subject Combination For Statistics Education
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Statistics Education under the Faculty of Education in the institutions listed above are:
Mathematics and any two of the following Science subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) FUAM requires Mathematics, Biology and Physics.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Statistics Education
In order to study Statistics Education in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics plus one other Science subject.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) MAUTECH requires:
(a) five (5) ‘O’ level credits in the SSCE/WASC/NECO/GCE in relevant subjects including, English and Mathematics.
(b) Grade II Teachers’ Certificate with a minimum of merit grade in at least five (5) relevant subjects including English and Mathematics.
Direct Entry Requirements For Statistics Education
To apply for Statistics Education as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level/NCE passes in Mathematics and one Science subject.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) MAUTECH accept NCE in relevant subjects not below merit.
