JAMB Subject Combination For Physics with Electronics
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Physics with Electronics under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are:
Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNIOSUN requires Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
(ii) AJAYI does not accept Agric Science or Economics.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Physics with Electronics
In order to study Physics with Electronics in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other Science subject from Further mathematics and Biology or Agricultural Science.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNIOSUN accepts any other Science subject as the fifth subject at one sitting.
(ii) GODFREY requires Five SSCE credit passes in not more than two sittings in subjects which include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
(iii) REDEEMER’S requires five ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry Mathematics, and any of Further Mathematics, Biology or Geography.
(iv) GODFREY also requires for Physics with Electronics SSCE credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Biology or Chemistry and any other Science subject.
a) HND
b) IJMB/NCE/ND
c) Accept NCE merit passes in Physics and Mathematics or ND credit passes in Elect/Elect/Telecommunication Engineering Science Tech and Mathematics.
Direct Entry Requirements For Physics with Electronics
To apply for Physics with Electronics as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: NCE/Two ‘A’ level A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics
or Chemistry.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) AAUA accepts ND in Physics or Applied Mathematics at credit level.
(ii) AJAYI requires two ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Studies OR ND Certificate in Computer Studies (Upper Credit) OR two ICT Certificate passes. OR NCE with Distinction/credit in any two of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or Computer Studies in addition to requirements in (a).
(iii) BELLS accepts:
a) Two A’ level passes chosen from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
b) ND/HND in related field plus UTME requirements.
(iv) NDU accepts HSC, ND passes in any two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Geography.
(v) UNIOSUN accepts ‘A’ Level pass in Geography in lieu of Mathematics and Chemistry. Accepts also ND (Lower Credit) and approved equivalents.
