JAMB Subject Combination For Physics / Astrology
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Physics / Astrology under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are:
Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Physics / Astrology
In order to study Physics / Astrology in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other Science subject from Further mathematics and Biology or Agricultural Science.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNN accepts five ‘O’ level Credit passes in Physics, Mathematics and English Language as well as two (2) other credit passes from Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Biology, further mathematics, statistics, Technical drawing and Geography at SSCE/GCE/NECO or its equivalent.
Direct Entry Requirements For Physics / Astrology
To apply for Physics / Astrology as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: NCE/Two ‘A’ level A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics or Chemistry.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNN accepts:
(a) NCE Physics or ND or HND in Physics or Engineering.
(b) Two A’ level passes in physics and Mathematics plus UTME requirements in both cases.
