JAMB Subject Combination For Physical Sciences
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Physical Sciences under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are:
Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Physical Sciences
In order to study Physical Sciences in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other Science subject from Further mathematics and Biology or Agricultural Science.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) GODFREY requires Five SSCE credit passes in not more than two sittings in subjects which include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
(ii) GODFREY requires for Physics with Electronics SSCE credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Biology or Chemistry and any other Science subject.
Direct Entry Requirements For Physical Sciences
To apply for Physical Sciences as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: NCE/Two ‘A’ level A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics or Chemistry.
