JAMB Subject Combination For Industrial Physics
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Industrial Physics under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are:
Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) EBSU requires Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Industrial Physics
In order to study Industrial Physics in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other Science subject from Further mathematics and Biology or Agricultural Science.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) LAUTECH requires Passes at Credit level to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
(ii) GODFREY same as in Biological Sciences.
(iii) RENAISSANCE and PAUL require five SSCE credit passes at not more than two sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
(iv) EBSU requires five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other Science subject from further Mathematics and Biology or Agricultural Science.
Direct Entry Requirements For Industrial Physics
To apply for Industrial Physics as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two A/L passes in Physics and Mathematics.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNIBEN as in Physics.
(ii) ESUTECH requires ‘A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics.
(iii) BASU accepts ND in Engineering.
(iv) IMSU and ESUTECH accept a pass in English Language
(v) LAUTECH accepts ‘A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics or ND Upper credit/HND/NCE credit in Physics plus UTME requirements.
(vi) EBSU accepts HND, NCE and ND with a minimum of Merit and Upper credit respectively in the relevant fields.
(vii) UNIZIK accepts a pass in English Language.
(viii) RENAISSANCE requires credit pass in Further Mathematics.
(ix) CRESCENT same as Physics.
(x) LAUTECH accepts ‘A’ Level Passes in Physics, and Mathematics or ND with Upper Credit/HND/NCE credit grade in Physics (plus UTME requirements) may be considered for admission into 200 level.
(xi) PAUL accepts passes in Higher certificate examination or GCE Á’ level examination in Physics and Mathematics.
(xii) UNIABUJA accepts Geography as the third subject.
