JAMB Subject Combination For Geological Sciences
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Geological Sciences under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are:
Any three of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology and Geography.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Geological Sciences
In order to study Geological Sciences in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other subject.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNIZIK accepts ‘Pass’ in English Language.
Direct Entry Requirements For Geological Sciences
To apply for Geological Sciences as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: (i) Two ‘A’ level passes from Geology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Geography.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNIZIK accepts A/L passes in Geography and HND (credit) in Mining Engineering.
(ii) UNIZIK accepts ND credit in Biology/ Agricultural Science and Chemistry into 100 level,
