JAMB Subject Combination For Banking and Finance
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Banking and Finance under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Technology in the institutions listed above are:
Mathematics, Economics and any one of Chemistry, Physics or Biology
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Banking and Finance
In order to study Banking and Finance in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes to include, English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two science subjects from Chemistry,
Physics, Biology, Geography, Health Science, Metal Works, Wood Work, Agric Science, Technical Drawing, Nutrition and Food Science.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) BAUCHI requires five ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, one Science subject and two Commercial subjects.
Direct Entry Requirements For Banking and Finance
To apply for Banking and Finance as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two A’ Level passes in Economics, Accountancy, Business Management, Government and Geography. Candidate must have Science background at ‘O’ Level
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) BAUCHI accepts:
(a) Two ‘A’ level passes in any of Math, Economics, Commerce, Physics, Chemistry, Bio/Agric.
(b) ND/HND at lower credit and above.
(ii) MAUTECH accepts ND certificates in relevant fields.
