Yes. The University of Benin has announced its 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise for Post UTME (PUTME) and Post Direct Entry (PUDE) candidates. The screening will be conducted using Computer-Based Test (CBT).
When Does UNIBEN Post UTME Registration Start and End?
All applications should be made between 8:00 a.m. on Friday, 5th June 2026 and midnight of Friday, 3rd July 2026. Candidates who pay after this deadline will not be screened.
When Is the UNIBEN Post UTME Screening Exercise?

Who Is Eligible for UNIBEN Post UTME Screening?
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following:
- You applied through JAMB for the 2026/2027 UTME or Direct Entry admission and chose UNIBEN as your first choice.
- UTME candidates must have scored 200 and above.
- You must have at least five (5) credit passes at GCE O/L, SSCE, NECO, or their equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics (for courses that require Mathematics), plus three other relevant subjects (four if Mathematics is not required), obtained in not more than two sittings.
- You should have a valid email account before starting the application.
How Much Is the UNIBEN Post UTME Screening Fee?
The screening fee is Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) only, excluding portal access charges. Payment is made using a valid ATM-enabled card from any commercial bank in Nigeria through Remita.
How To Apply for UNIBEN Post UTME 2026/2027?
To apply, follow these steps:
- Visit https://unibenportal.com/#application.
- Click on the Application menu.
- Read the instructions on the Post-UTME Application option and click “Click/Tap Here to Proceed.”
- Read the instructions carefully, then click “Begin Application Process” at the bottom of the page.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and JAMB Score, then set your password.
- Log in with your User ID (JAMB Registration Number) and password to begin your application.
- Supply the required information.
- Click “Pay with Remita” and follow the instructions to pay the ₦2,000 screening fee using a valid ATM card.
- Preview and confirm your information before submitting. No correction will be accepted after submission.
What Should Candidates Bring to the Screening Centre?
Candidates should come to the screening centre with:

- Screening Invitation Slip (contains the screening schedule)
