JAMB Subject Combination For Technology Education
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Technology Education under the Faculty of Education in the institutions listed above are:
Mathematics, Physics and one other Science subject.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Technology Education
In order to study Technology Education in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credits to include Physics or Mathematics.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNILORIN requires Fine Arts, Technical Drawing, Mathematics, or Physics or any other related subject.
Direct Entry Requirements For Technology Education
To apply for Technology Education as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: (i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics.
(ii) ND with at least lower credit in Civil Engineering, Production/Elect. Engineering.
(iii) Final City and Guilds or its equivalent plus National Technical Certificate.
(iv) NCE in Technical Education plus credit pass in Physics or Mathematics.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNILORIN gives special consideration to candidates with Fine Arts background and NCE (Technical) or Fine Arts plus at least credit passes in two other subjects at ‘O’ level.
