JAMB Subject Combination For Peace and Development Studies
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Peace and Development Studies under the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences in the institutions listed above are:
Economics, Mathematics and any of Government, History, Geography, Lit-in-English, French and CRK/IRK.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) SALEM require Mathematics, Economics and one other Social Science subject.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Peace and Development Studies
In order to study Peace and Development Studies in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two of Arts or Social Science subjects.
Direct Entry Requirements For Peace and Development Studies
To apply for Peace and Development Studies as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agric Science, Accounting, Business Management, History and Government.
