LASU Resumption Date
July 19, 2021.
Lagos State University will resume on the 19th of July, 2021.
According to the released academic calendar all fresh / newly admitted students are to resume for commencement of academic activities on Monday 19th July, 2021.
Registration of newly admitted students commences from Monday 19th July, 2021 to Friday 30th July, 2021 (2 Weeks).
All returning students are expected to resume for academic activities on Monday 2nd August, 2021.
Registration for all Returning students commences from Monday 2nd August, 2021 to Friday 2nd October, 2021 (12 Weeks).
Lectures commences for all students both fresh and returning on Monday 2nd August, 2021.
The University Management welcomes all students back to the campuses.
You can find update on the resumption date of Lagos State University above. However, the federal government of Nigeria has given the authorisation for all institutions in Nigeria to remain closed until January 18, 2021.
Bearing that in mind, LASU resumption date will be as from January especially if ASUU strike is eased for the time being. So if ASUU strike is not in play, LASU will resume by January, if not, then it will be as from February 2021 or beyond.
