HIS BACKGROUND
Jideofor Peter Okorie popularly known as ( O Money ) is a fast rising young Nigerian Entrepreneur born on the 15th of October to the family of Okorie Nwambam of Abina Amagu in Ikwo Local Government, Ebonyi State.
Jideofor Okorie (O Money) comes from a Christian background. He did his primary school at Primary school Abina Amagu Ikwo, Ebonyi State, where he obtained his first school leaving certificate at community Primary School, Abina Ikwo, Ebonyi State (2004 – 2010)
He headed on to get his secondary school education at Divine Comprehensive Secondary School, Agubia Ikwo, Ebonyi State, where he obtained his SSCE Certificate (2010 – 2016).
From there, he successfully got the admission to study Petroleum Engineering in University of Benin (UniBen) in 2017 – 2020
FAMILY BACKGROUND
Born to a middle class family, growing up Jideofor Peter (O Money) found that he was always drawn to engaging in business activities. And most of his business traits were inborn.
From his childhood days, Jideofor (O Money) was at one point or another involved in business ventures.
During his Secondary School days, while in Divine Comprehensive High School, O Money would travel from State to State just to earn his own money while doing some part time work.
In an interview with O Money, it was disclosed by Nigeria Plus News Blog that during his travels from State to State, he has worked as a sales boy, and sometimes sold icecream.
In the said interview, he further revealed that he was a social prefect during his secondary school days. He was even nicknamed in school by his friends as J.J (Prof JJ) because of how academically good he was.
Gaining admission into the University of Benin to study Petroleum Engineering, he found work under someone as a blog author.
From the information released by Nigeria Plug Blog, his monthly pay as at then was 15,000 Naira, which enabled him to set up his own personal blog. After two years of successfully blogging, he sought to open a boutique, selling all trendy types of male clothing – which he named O Money Classic Wear.
In the same interview with Nigeria Plug Blog, it was disclosed that Jideofor Okorie popularly known as O Money also runs a mining business, pure water and bottle water company that also produces juice.
