JAMB Subject Combination For Information System
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Information System under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Technology in the institutions listed above are:
Maths, Economics and any one of Chemistry, Physics, Biology or Geography.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) AUN requires Mathematics, plus any other subjects from the following: Physics; Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Environmental Science, Biology, Literature in English, Government, History, Economics, Geography, Technical Drawing, Visual Arts, Civics, and French.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Information System
In order to study Information System in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes in Mathematics, English Language and three other Science subjects
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) AUN requires Five ‘O’ level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and any other three subjects from the following with emphasis on the ranking order: Physics; Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Environmental Science, Biology, Literature in English, Government, History, Economics, Geography, Technical Drawing, Visual Arts, Civics, and French. It does not accept credit passes in the following; Agriculture, Food and Nutrition, Home Economics, Home Craft, Home management, Physical Education, Physical and Health Education, Music, Commerce, Accounting, Financial Accounting, Book keeping, Islamic History, Religious Studies, Tajweed, Library Studies, Diction, Kiswahili, Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Arabic, Turkish, Study skills.
Direct Entry Requirements For Information System
To apply for Information System as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: A’ level passes ND/NCE at credit/merit levels and HND (lower credit) in relevant fields into 200 and 300 levels

(i) AUN accepts
(a) ‘A’ level credit passes chosen from English Language, Mathematics,: Physics; Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Environmental Science, Biology, Literature in English, Government, History, Economics, Geography, Technical Drawing, Visual Arts, Civics, and French.
(b) ND/HND
(c) ICGSE and ‘A’ level Cambridge
(ii) AUN does not offer admissions direct to 200 level programs and may transfer credits relevant to it’s major at the discretion of the Dean of school.
