JAMB Subject Combination For Information Management Technology
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Information Management Technology under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Technology in the institutions listed above are:
Maths, Economics and any one of Account, Commerce and Government
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(ii) FUTO require Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Information Management Technology
In order to study Information Management Technology in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Economics and Mathematics
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) FUTO requires at least five ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and one of Biology, Economics and Geography in not more than two sittings.
Direct Entry Requirements For Information Management Technology
To apply for Information Management Technology as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: A’ Level passes/ND and HND in relevant fields into 200 and 300 levels
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) FUTO requires at least two ‘A’ level passes not below Grade C in Mathematics and one of Physics, Chemistry and Economics. It also accepts ND/HND (Upper Credit) in Information Management Technology, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering and Computer Engineering. Candidates must in addition meet UTME O’ level requirements. It does not accept First Degree or NCE.
