JAMB Subject Combination For Igbo / Linguistics
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Igbo / Linguistics under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in the institutions listed above are:
Igbo and two subjects from Arts and social Sciences.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Igbo / Linguistics
In order to study Igbo / Linguistics in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes to include Igbo, English Language and any other Arts subject.
Direct Entry Requirements For Igbo / Linguistics
To apply for Igbo / Linguistics as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: (i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Igbo and one Arts/Social Science subject.
(ii) NCE in Igbo and one Arts subject.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) IMSU accepts ‘A’ level/NCE (merit).
