Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University will resume on the 16th of August, 2021.
Lectures and Registration for both New and Returning students commences immediately upon resumption.
All lecturers, staff and students must ensure full compliance with the COVID-19 protocols by maintaining physical distancing and avoiding large gathering of any kind.
Proper wearing of face mask at all times within and outside the campuses must be adhered to.
Staff, students and visitors are to note that temperature tests would be carried out at all the entrances to the University.

You can find update on the resumption date of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University above. However, the federal government of Nigeria has given the authorisation for all institutions in Nigeria to remain closed until January 18, 2021.
Bearing that in mind, IBBU resumption date will be as from January especially if ASUU strike is eased for the time being. So if ASUU strike is not in play, IBBU will resume by January, if not, then it will be as from February 2021 or beyond.
