About IBBU Academic Calendar
First of all, Academic calendar is a schedule of all of the events that occur in an academic year. These events may include examination dates, breaks, lecture periods, matriculation dates and other important events.
So, having said that, IBBU academic calendar is simply a schedule of all of the events that will occur in Ibrahim Badamasi Bagangida University for the academic year in question.

- Registration of new and returning students: 16th August to 29th August, 2021
- First Semester Lectures: 30th August to 26th November, 2021.
- Add/Drop Course Registration: 30th September to 8th October, 2021
- First Semester Examinations: 29th November to 17th November, 2021
- First Semester Break: 20th December, 2021 to 2nd January, 2022
- Marking of Scripts: 18th December 2021 to 24th December, 2021
- Departmental Boards Meetings: 3rd January to 7th January, 2022
- Faculty Board Meetings: 10th January to 14th January, 2022
- Senate Business Committee Meeting: 17th January to 21st January, 2021
- Senate Meeting: 22nd January, 2021.
SECOND SEMESTER
- Lectures: 3rd January to April, 2022
- Ad/Drop Course Registration: 31st January to 5th February, 2022
- Second Semester Examinations: 11th April to 29th April, 2022
- Marking of Scripts: 29th April to 6th May, 2022
- Departmental Board Meetings: 9th May to 13th May, 2022
- Faculty Boards Meetings: 16th May to 20th May, 2022
- Senate Business Committee Meeting: 23rd May to 3rd June, 2022
