About FUTMINNA Academic Calendar
First of all, Academic calendar is a schedule of all of the events that occur in an academic year. These events may include examination dates, breaks, lecture periods, matriculation dates and other important events.
So, having said that, FUTMINNA academic calendar is simply a schedule of all of the events that will occur in Federal University of Technology Minna for the academic year in question.
FUTMINNA Academic Calendar
FIRST SEMESTER
- 17th February, 2021: Resumption/Continuation of Lectures for all levels
- 15th to 20th March, 2021: First semester Examination for small classes
- 15th March to 3rd April, 2021: e-Exam for 100 Levels students and large classes
- 6th April to 24th September, 2021: SIWES for all Schools with exception of SAAT & SSTE Students
- 28th April, 2021: School board to meet and consider First semester Results
- 5th May, 2021: Submission of Results to Scrutiny Committee
- 26th May, 2021: Senate to Consider First semester Results
SECOND SEMESTER
- 12th April, 2021: Second Semester Begins/Lectures Commence for all levels
- 21st April, 2021: SIWES orientation for SAAT and SSTE
- 24th May to 5th June, 2021: E-test and Mid-Semester C.A
- 5th July to 10th July, 2021: Second Semester Examinations for small classes except 400 Level
- 5th July to 24th July, 2021: e-Exam for 100 Level students and large classes
- 26th July to 3rd September, 2021: SWEP/Field Trip
- 11th August, 2021: School Board meet to consider Second Semester Results
- 16th August, 2021: Submission of Results to Scrutiny Committee
- 25th August, 2021: Senate to Consider Second Semester Results
NEW SESSION 2020/2021
26th July, 2021: Resumption of 100 Level fresh students
30th August, 2021: Resumption of 200 – 400 Level Returning Students
27th September, 2021: Resumption of 500 Level Returning Students
NB:
- Courses with more than 200 STUDENTS should be conducted through e-Exam
- Every Saturday has been declared for Staff Fitness exercise from 6.30am – 8.00am (All staff are advised to turn up for it)
- Every Wednesday of the week, Lecturers are to end by 2.00pm for sporting activities for all students.
