JAMB Subject Combination For Finance
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Finance under the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences in the institutions listed above are:
Mathematics, Economics and any other Social Science subject.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Finance
In order to study Finance in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other relevant subjects.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNIILORIN requires ‘O; level credit passes in any three of Accounting, Business Method, Commerce, Geography, Economics, Statistics and Government.
(ii) AUN accepts:
(a) ‘A’ level passes chosen from English Language, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Literature in English, Government, History, Economics, Geography, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Visual Arts, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Civics, and French.
(b) does not accept credit passes in the following; Agriculture, Food and Nutrition, Home Economics, Home Craft, Home management, Physical Education, Physical and Health Education, Music, Commerce, Accounting, Financial Accounting, Book keeping, Islamic History, Religious Studies, Tajweed, Library Studies, Diction, Kiswahili, Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Arabic, Turkish, Study skills.
(c) accepts ICGSE and ‘A’ level Cambridge and does not offer admissions direct to 200 level programs. May transfer credits relevant to it’s major at the discretion of the Dean of school
Direct Entry Requirements For Finance
To apply for Finance as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes including Economics.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNIILORIN requires ‘A’ level passes in Accounting and at least one of Mathematics, Business Management, Economics, Statistics, Geography and Government plus UTME requirements.
(II) UNIILORIN Accepts National Diploma in Accounting/Finance plus UTME.
