JAMB Subject Combination For English and International Studies
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study English and International Studies under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in the institutions listed above are:
Literature in English,Government or History or any other Arts subjects
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For English and International Studies
In order to study English and International Studies in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Literature in English and any other three arts/social science subjects
Direct Entry Requirements For English and International Studies
To apply for English and International Studies as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ Level passes to include Literature in English and Government or History or NCE in English/Political Science/History Social Studies
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNIOSUN accepts:
a. ‘A’ level passes in Literature in English and one other Arts subject in addition to UTME requirement.
b. Candidates with ND, NCE and approved equivalents in Mass Communication or Theatre Arts with at least lower credit.
