Resumption Update:
The Senate of the Delta State University, at its 183 Regular Meeting, held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, deliberated extensively on the approved University’s Academic calendar and decided as follows:
i) that the University approved Academic Calendar would be followed strictly;
ii) that all undergraduate and Postgraduate students are to return to campus immediately and commence lectures; and
iii) that Faculties and Departments should ensure that academic activities commence fully.
Consequently, all students are expected to return to campus and commerce academic activities with immediate effect.
DELSU Resumption Date
February 7, 2021.
Delta State University, Abraka will resume on the 7th of February, 2021.
- Returning students are expected to resume on 7th March, 2021.
- Lectures commences for both fresh and returning students on Monday 15th March, 2021.
Currently, the resumption date of the Delta State University, Abraka is updated above. However, the federal government of Nigeria has given the authorisation for all institutions in Nigeria to remain closed until January 18, 2021.
Bearing that in mind, DELSU resumption date will be as from January especially if ASUU strike is eased for the time being. So if ASUU strike is not in play, DELSU will resume by January, if not, then it will be as from February 2021 or beyond.
