Before I proceed to providing you DELSU matriculation date, let me remind you that “Matriculation is the formal process of entering a university in this case; the Delta State University Abraka as a candidate for a degree, or of becoming eligible to enter by fulfilling certain academic requirements such as a formal examination”.

DELSU matriculation date likely will be announced as from 8th of May, 2021.
DELSU 2020/2021 matriculation ceremony has been scheduled for Saturday, May 8, 2021, simultaneously in all the Campuses of the University as indicated below:
- ABRAKA CAMPUS:
Time: 9.00 am
Venue: 1000 Seating Capacity Lecture Theatre site III
Note: Students are to be seated by 8.30 am. - ASABA CAMPUS:
Time: 11:00am
Venue: 1000 Seating Capacity Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Engineering
Note: Students are to be seated by 10.30 am - OLEH CAMPUS:
Time : 1:00pm
Venue: 1000 Seating Capacity Lecture Theatre, Anwal Campus Asaba
Note : Students are to be seated by 12:30 pm
Consequently, all Faculty Officers are requested to visit the Senate Divisions from Wednesday, May 5, 2021, for collection of academic gowns for their matriculating students
Matriculating students should note that all gowns collected MUST be returned in good condition to the Senate Division not later than Monday, May 10, 2021, failing which, the matriculants would pay a Fee of Five Hundred Naira (N500) for each day the gown is retained; while a penal fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) would be charged as cost of replacement for any gown not returned or damaged
Matriculating students should also note that on no account must they rent their gowns to photographers in the University Security operatives have been directed to impound such gowns found with unauthorised persons.
