Sequel to the introduction made above, the general public are hereby informed that AKSU resumption date for 2021/2022 academic session has been announced by the management of the Akwa Ibom State University.

First of all, the Akwa Ibom State University is popularly known as AKSU. Akwa Ibom State University is one of the universities in Nigeria located in Obio Akpa, Oruk Anam L.G.A, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. It is among the best universities in Nigeria that was established/founded in 2000.

AKSU Resumption Date

June 16, 2021.

Akwa Ibom State University will resume as from 16th of June, 2021.

The 2nd Semester, 2019/2020 Examinations should resume on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 and end on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

All fresh students should report at their respective campuses on Monday, July 5, 2021 and commence registration for 2020/2021 academic year on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

All returning students should report at their various campuses on Monday, July 12, 2021 and commence registration for the 2020/2021 academic year on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.

Lectures begin for fresh students on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.

Lectures begin for returning students on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.

All students and staff members are advised to adhere strictly to the above decisions of Senate.

You can find update on the resumption date of Akwa Ibom State University above. However, the federal government of Nigeria has given the authorisation for all institutions in Nigeria to remain closed until January 18, 2021.

Bearing that in mind, AKSU resumption date will be as from January especially if ASUU strike is eased for the time being. So if ASUU strike is not in play, AKSU will resume by January, if not, then it will be as from February 2021 or beyond.
