In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Veterinary Science under the Faculty of Agriculture in the institutions listed above are:
Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) FUAM requires Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Veterinary Science
In order to study Veterinary Science in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) FUAM requires at least five SSCE/NECO/GCE O’ level credits at not more than two sittings,including English,Biology/Agriculture Science, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
Direct Entry Requirements For Veterinary Science
To apply for Veterinary Science as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: A’ level passes in Chemistry, Biology/Zoology, Physics or Mathematics.
