When Does Edo University Post UTME Registration Start and End?

The registration window opens on Friday, 12th June 2026 and ends on Monday, 31st August 2026. Only candidates who complete their application and upload their O’Level results to JAMB CAPS on or before this deadline will be considered for admission.

Who Is Eligible for Edo University Post UTME 2026/2027?

To be eligible, candidates must meet all of the following:

  • You must have registered and sat for the 2026 UTME, scored a minimum of 150, and met the university-approved cut-off mark for your chosen programme with the required O’Level credits as specified in the JAMB Brochure.
  • You must have selected Edo State University, Iyamho as your first-choice institution on JAMB.
  • Direct Entry candidates must have registered through JAMB and meet the university’s DE requirements.
  • You must be at least 16 years old on or before 30th September 2026.

How Much Is Edo University Post UTME Screening Fee?

The fees are as follows:

  • UTME and Direct Entry candidates – ₦2,000 non-refundable screening fee.
  • Transfer candidates – ₦60,000 non-refundable transfer application fee.

Payments must be made only via the Remita platform on the university website. Do not pay through individuals or private accounts.

What Is the Nature of the Edo University Screening Exercise?

The screening exercise is in two formats depending on the programme:

  • Physical (On-Campus) Screening: Applicants for Medicine and Surgery, Nursing, and Law must attend a Post-UTME screening test on campus. The date and time will be communicated later. Screening is based on the Post-UTME test, verified JAMB score, and O’Level results on JAMB CAPS.
  • Online Screening: All other UTME programmes are screened online only, based on verified JAMB scores and O’Level results uploaded to JAMB CAPS. Direct Entry candidates are also screened online, except those applying for Medicine and Surgery, Nursing, and Law, who must additionally sit the Post-DE Screening Test.

How to Apply for Edo University Post UTME 2026/2027

To apply, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the university’s admission portal at edouniversity.edu.ng/admissions/register for UTME/DE admission, or edouniversity.edu.ng/admissions/StartTransferRegistration for inter-university transfer admission.
  2. Select your preferred application category (Undergraduate, Transfer, JUPEB, Postgraduate, etc.) or click “Admissions” and choose the appropriate category.
  3. Click “Admission Requirements/Details” and read the guidelines carefully before proceeding.
  4. Click “Application Forms” and enter your JAMB Registration Number in the prescribed format.
  5. Use your personal email address and phone number throughout the application process.
