WAEC And NECO Subject Requirements for Software Engineering
The subjects required to study Software Engineering in both WAEC and NECO are as follows:
Five SSCE credit passes in Mathematics, English Language and three other Science subjects
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) AUN requires Five ‘O’ level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and any other three subjects from the following with emphasis on the ranking order: Physics; Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Environmental Science, Biology, Literature in English, Government, History, Economics, Geography, Technical Drawing, Visual Arts, Civics, and French. It does not accept credit passes in the following; Agriculture, Food and Nutrition, Home Economics, Home Craft, Home management, Physical Education, Physical and Health Education, Music, Commerce, Accounting, Financial Accounting, Book keeping, Islamic History, Religious Studies, Tajweed, Library Studies, Diction, Kiswahili, Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Arabic, Turkish, Study skills.
The O level (WAEC and NECO) requirements posted above may only apply to Software Engineering under the faculty of Engineering, Environment and Technology.
