JAMB Subject Combination For Environmental Management and Toxicology
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Environmental Management and Toxicology under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are:
Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) FED-DUTSE:
(a) For Microbiology requires Biology and Chemistry and any other Science subject.
(b) For Environmental Science and Toxicology requires Chemistry, Biology and Geography or any other Science subject.
O Level (WAEC and NECO) Requirements For Environmental Management and Toxicology
In order to study Environmental Management and Toxicology in the University, you will need to pass the following requirements in your O level result which can either be WAEC or NECO or even both:
Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) FED-DUTSE:
(a) For Environmental Science and Toxicology accepts credit pass in Geography in lieu of Physics.
(b) For Microbiology accepts any other Science subject in lieu of Physics.
(ii) BSU for Microbiology accepts passes in five (5) prescribed subjects in Preliminary Science of BSU in addition to minimum UTME score.
Direct Entry Requirements For Environmental Management and Toxicology
To apply for Environmental Management and Toxicology as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and any one from Biology, Zoology or Botany
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) FED-DUTSE accepts ND (merit) and IJMB with minimum of eight points.
(ii) BSU for Environmental Management and Toxicology accepts holders of ND/HND (upper credit) in Health Technology, Agriculture and other related fields.
