Direct Entry (DE) Requirements for Economics and Statistics
Without wasting much time, the direct entry requirements to study Economics and Statistics are:
Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agric Science, Accounting, Business Management, History and Government.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) IGBINEDION accepts National Diploma (Lower Credit) in Accounting, Business Admin./ Banking and Finance; NCE in Economics, Mathematics or any other Social Science subject.
(ii) FED-OYEEKITI requires two A’ level passes chosen from Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography or Statistics.
Note that the above direct entry requirements may only apply to Economics and Statistics under the faculty of Social and Management Sciences.
