This is to inform teachers, students, parents, guardians and the general public that the resumption date of schools in Anambra State has been announced by the Anambra State government. This resumption date is for but not limited to primary schools, secondary schools as well as tertiary institutions in Anambra State.
Anambra State Schools Resumption Date
January 26th, 2021.
Schools in Anambra State will resume on the 26th of January, 2021.
Parents are to provide hand sanitizers and face masks for children. Schools with large population are to run two shifts:
- Junior Secondary: 8am- 12 noon while
- Senior Secondary: 12.30pm – 4.30pm.
- Schools with smaller population should have all classes start at 8am- 1pm.

However, the federal government of Nigeria has given the authorisation for all institutions in Nigeria to remain closed until January 18, 2021.
